Terms of service.
The scope, the meter, and the honest limits of Atlas the Receptionist. Nothing here is clothed in more authority than it has.
Last updated: September 9, 2026
1 · The service
Atlas the Receptionist answers one phone line for one business, under a greeting the subscriber approves, asks intake questions the subscriber approves, and delivers completed intakes to one destination the subscriber verifies. That is the scope of the subscription service. Live human coverage, calendar writes, SMS follow-up, outbound calling, complex routing, and CRM changes are not part of the service and are connected only if and when each is proved on the subscriber’s setup.
2 · The meter
Usage is measured as connected minutes where the AI handled the call, summed from actual call records. Subscribers can see their usage ledger and receive notices at 80% and 100% of the included bucket. Overage at $0.35/min applies only with the subscriber’s advance approval. We do not bill subscribers for our own test calls.
3 · Plans and the draft rung
The published ladder — free 20-minute trial (no card, 14-day window), $99/150 min, $199/550 min, $349/1,050 min, $499/1,500 min — is the commercial terms of the service. The $99 Starter rung is marked draft on this site until final terms are signed off; nothing on the site is a binding quote until a subscriber agreement is executed.
4 · Pricing changes
Usage pricing may change as delivered costs are measured. Any change applies to a signed subscriber only with written notice in advance — never retroactively and never silently.
5 · Free trial and fair use
The trial is 20 connected minutes within a 14-day window, no card required. Automated or bulk trial consumption defeats the point of a trial and may be declined.
6 · AI and errors
Atlas is an AI system. It will sometimes mishear, misunderstand, or reach the edge of what it can do — and it is built to say so plainly and hand back a written record of what it did take. Subscribers are responsible for reviewing intakes before acting on them. We do not guarantee outcomes, savings, or availability figures we have not measured, and the service is not a law firm, medical practice, or emergency service: emergencies belong with your local emergency number.
7 · Custom builds
Custom phone-agent builds are quoted per engagement (band $6,000–$18,000 unless scope agrees otherwise), paid 40% on approved scope, 40% on sandbox acceptance, 20% at handover, with discovery credited into the engagement. The subscriber receives the contracted deliverables and deployment materials and may operate the delivered system without any subscription to us. Third-party licenses and model access do not transfer; external dependencies are documented at handover. Optional maintenance, if purchased, runs $240–$600/mo.
8 · Data
Call handling and retention are described in the privacy policy; deletion requests follow the data deletion path.
